- After high school, what did you do, where did you go? Directly after high school I attended the University of Wisconsin-Wood County, and then transferred into the nursing program via the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I obtained my bachelors degree in nursing. With this I worked as a Public Health Nurse for the Clark county health department before returning to obtain my doctorate degree in nursing practice via the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire which I completed in 2016.
- What are you doing now? I am a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, working in primary care clinic in Cumberland, WI which I love. I have 2 girls of my own and one wonderful stepdaughter. We live in the country with our three dogs and chickens.
- What is your fondest memory from Granton School? My fondest memory was how small Granton school was, class sizes and all creating a family type atmosphere and additional opportunities to obtain one-to-one guidance if needed.
- What do you think were some of your greatest accomplishments during your time at Granton School? I took great value in my grades and extra circular activities including the National honors society. I was proud to be the Salutatorian of my graduating class.
- Which teacher left the biggest impact on your life and why? Mrs. Roxanne Eibergen influenced me in many ways to push myself further and strive for the best.
- If you could give one piece of advice to our current students, what advice would that be? No matter where you come from, you can rise above and create the life you dream of. Never give up and continue moving forward. No goal is unattainable. On your journey to the top, never forget where you came from and what grounded you. Stay humble.
