- What are you doing now? Currently working as a special education teacher at the Marshfield Middle School! I currently reside in the Chili Wi area with my husband, Nate Hasz, and our two boys, Owen and Waylon!
- After high school, what did you do, where did you go? After high school I went to college at UW-Milwaukee where I earned my degree in American Sign Language Studies and Autism Spectrum Disorder! I recently went back to school to get my teaching license which I earned this past January, 2022!
- What do you think were some of your greatest accomplishments during your time at Granton School? Some great accomplishments for me was being apart of great recreational activities. Being in Band, FFA, cross country and basketball etc. all while keeping good grades, and a social life!!
- Which teacher left the biggest impact on your life and why? I have a few teachers that have had a great impact one me. One was in elementary, Lisa Brill, she was such a huge advocate for me when I was struggling with my reading at a young age. Another would be high school math student teacher, Cassie Meinholtz. Mrs. Meinholtz worked one on one with me and always had time to help me better understand math concepts! Lastly, Mr. Mike Lambrecht! He truly was an entertaining teacher and athletic director! My husband and I are still close with him today - he even attended our wedding! :)
- What is your fondest memory from Granton School? Honestly, I truly just loved knowing all the students in the building! Having a tight group of friends of all ages was a huge blessing! I also LOVED the small class sizes that allowed for more student-teacher learning!
- If you could give one piece of advice to our current students, what advice would that be? The best thing to remember is to just be a good human. Love yourself, celebrate small successes, ask for help when you need it and encourage others to do the same! Those soft skills are what follow you throughout your entire life!
