- After high school, what did you do, where did you go? I went to a four-year university, Carthage College.
- What are you doing now? Right now I’m working on my undergraduate degree. I’m majoring in Criminal Justice—Pre Law and Minoring in Creative Writing. I’m applying for Law internships, studying for the Lsat, and I’m going to be applying to law school in the next year!
- What is your fondest memory from Granton School? My fondest Granton memory was going to Costa Rica with the Spanish Club!
- What do you think were some of your greatest accomplishments during your time at Granton School? Reflecting back on my high school self now and realizing how heavily involved I was in and outside of the Granton community and school was a huge accomplishment, with being involved in a few sports and many clubs.
- Which teacher left the biggest impact on your life and why? Mrs. Hanson, I think about her often and the impact she had on third grade me—how comfortable she made/makes me and the classroom environment, her fashion sense is immaculate, and her huge heart. I see her sunshiny self in my friends that are elementary education majors, and I just know they’re going to change lives just like Mrs. Hanson did to mine.
- If you could give one piece of advice to our current students, what advice would that be? Remind yourself of the bigger picture.
