- After high school, what did you do, where did you go? After high school I spent a year at UW-Marshfield then transferring to UW-Stout. I spent 4 1/2 years going to school to become a Tech-Ed teacher. When realizing teaching wasn't for me, in 2004 I started selling cars at V&H and worked my way to become the General Sales Manager. Some of my old teachers may agree that I had the "gift of gab".
- What are you doing now? I am the General Sales Manager at V&H Automotive. My wife and I have two amazing little girls that are currently going to Granton Schools.
- What is your fondest memory from Granton School? My fondest memory to this day is running out of the locker room for a basketball game and hearing the crowd cheer. That is an experience that we still talk about today.
- What do you think were some of your greatest accomplishments during your time at Granton School? Honestly it’s the friendships I made. The friends I had in school are still some of my closest friends to this day. We may live in different cities or states, but we never lost the bonds we made when we were younger. I believe that's the benefit of coming from a small school that you don't see in bigger ones.
- Which teacher left the biggest impact on your life and why? To name just one wouldn't do it justice... But seeing the fun that Mr. Williams had teaching Tech-Ed made me want to become a Tech-Ed teacher. But after 4 1/2 years of college I realized teaching wasn't for me.
- If you could give one piece of advice to our current students, what advice would that be? The best advice I have ever received in life was "don't ever forget where you came from". No matter how much success you may achieve in life, appreciate what got you there.
