District Weather Cancellation Process
When a winter weather advisory is issued for our area. First and foremost, All Families Will Receive an All-Call Parent Alert. This comes as a phone message from the district with a pre-recorded message. The Granton Area School District will also post on the Granton Schools Facebook page, District Website, local news and radio stations.
We will try to communicate as quickly as possible so that families can make alternate plans for your child(ren). The Granton Community Child Care Center will also be posting their daycare availability along with school cancellation postings.
Use your discretion regarding the safety of the roads in your area, especially when sending out high school drivers. Please contact the Principal’s Office at 715-238-7175 ext. 1 or your bus driver if your child is not going to be coming to school due to weather.
