The Granton Area School District Ag Program offers several unique opportunities for its students: our facility offers a classroom with lab stations, greenhouse, school orchard, community garden, several flower gardens, outdoor classroom, and aquaculture tank to raise fish. Our program also offers an opportunity for any student enrolled in an agriculture class to join FFA! FFA is free for any student to join and strives to encourage students to develop premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.
I graduated from UW-River Falls in 2015 with a degree in Agricultural Education and a minor in Animal Science.
I have been a teacher at Granton Schools since 2015. I even completed my intern teaching here!
My husband Kevin and I live on a hobby farm where we raise sheep.
I have a dog named Huck and six cats: Vision, Yoda, Pinocchio, Johnny, Lady, and Scamp. My animals sometimes make appearances at FFA events and in the classroom!
If you would like to learn more about the courses being offered or opportunities provided through FFA, please feel free to stop in the Ag Room and chat :)
