Where excitement begins and learning never ends. While in 4K, we will do many fun and exciting things such as a variety of cool Science experiments, celebrate the 100th day of school, Dr. Seuss's Birthday, and of course all of the Holidays. We will study our ABC's and 123's. Each week we will focus on a different theme . During 4k we take our learning out of the classroom , while we go on various field trips out in the community as well as we go on one of the two field trips either to the Children's Museum or Minnesota every other year. We work very hard getting to know one another and build lifelong connections! I look forward to working with you, while in 4K!

What we will be doing in 4K
Reading: 4K students will master letter recognition and sounds.
Math: We work on recognizing and quantifying numbers 1-2o.
Writing/Language Arts: We will work on properly writing letters and numbers , as well as our names.
Science: We learn about the world around us with topics such as weather, plants and seeds, etc.
Social Studies: We will talk about and explore our community and community helpers around us.
