- After high school, what did you do, where did you go? I attended Mid-State technical college for the Health unit Coordinator program, worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 10 years. Granton school helped pay for my class as a CNA and that is what I did for my junior and senior year!
- What are you doing now? I am currently a stay at home mom to my 2 beautiful children and also help my husband with his business whenever he needs an extra hand.
- What is your fondest memory from Granton School? Small classes so everyone knew the entire school, and everyone just got along.
- What do you think were some of your greatest accomplishments during your time at Granton School? Maintaining decent grades and participating in different activities, visual arts being my favorite.
- Which teacher left the biggest impact on your life and why? Hands down Mr. Yohn. He encouraged me to be better and think outside the box. Most importantly he believed in me even if I didn’t believe in myself.
- If you could give one piece of advice to our current students, what advice would that be? Enjoy what little time you have in high school, ask questions and really prepare yourself for the real world. Also, follow your passion and you will go far.
