Individuals who are diagnosed with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported. These symptoms can range from mild symptoms to more severe illnesses. Symptoms may appear up to 14 days after exposure to the virus. However, some individuals may have symptoms appear in as little as two days after exposure to the virus. WHEN TO SEEK EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE
Look out for any emergency warning signs* for COVID-19. If any individual is experiencing any of the following signs, seek emergency medical care immediately:
Call 911 or call ahead to your local emergency facility. Alert the operator that you are seeking care for someone who has or may have COVID-19.
