Granton Area School District is attracting new families and serves as a model of student excellence for communities everywhere.
We provide the highest quality education possible while meeting the needs of ALL students. We do this by focusing on three things:
- Individual attention and small class size ensures that each student receives personalized education in a comfortable and nurturing, small classroom environment.
- Broad and innovative educational opportunities that include agriculture, environmental science, technical education, the arts and online distance learning offer students a world of opportunities.
- Engaging and supporting the community means education does not stop in the classroom – we use serving learning projects and local resources such as the library, pool and childcare center to enrich our students’ academic experience.
Open enrollment for the 2014-2015 school year is happening NOW. The open enrollment period will be open until April 30, 2014.

Granton Bulldogs Celebrated Homecoming Week
Last week the Granton high school students celebrated Homecoming. Part of every homecoming week includes each PAWS group creating and performing in front of all staff, students and area residents.
This year the PAWS groups were asked to create a video showing how each student has school spirit and why Granton ROCKS!
That's all the direction the students needed. You'll want to view how creative the groups were able to get!
Watch the videos by clicking the image below. (You'll be taken to Youtube)
Granton Elementary School Recognized for "Beating the Odds"
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction has recognized the Granton elementary school for having above-average student achievement in reading and mathematics when compared to schools from similarly sized districts and poverty levels.
This award recognizes the success of the Granton elementary teachers in educating students from low-income families. We’d also like to acknowledge the effort put in by each parent and student which allowed us to exceed expectations.
