Students in high school art may enter various exhibits and competitions regionally, state-wide, and nationally. Several students have won awards and scholarships over the years. Art classes have lent their talents locally, too, redesigning the Granton Fall Fest Queen float and PTO food stands, school installations, alcohol and drug awareness window painting downtown and graphic designs for local groups/businesses.

As an adjunct to the classroom program, Granton High School students have competed the last dozen years in the Visual Arts Classic, a state-wide competition for the visual arts sponsored by the Wisconsin Art Education Association. Graphic Design students will also participate in the Visioneers Design Challenge this upcoming spring.
